Mayank Gariya, Bageshwar to Paris Olympic:- Indian athletes are gearing up for the Paris Olympics. Fans are hopeful that the Indian contingent will once again make history. Three young individuals from Uttarakhand are part of the Indian team for the Paris Olympics. While athletes attract global attention, many staff members contribute significantly to success, even though they often remain out of the limelight.

Mayank Singh Gariya, originally from Bageshwar, Uttarakhand, is among those who will be part of the Indian Olympic contingent. Mayank has been appointed as the strength and conditioning coach for Indian Olympic wrestlers and will be part of the pre-Olympic training camps in Spain and France, as well as the Paris Olympics 2024. Mayank has been part of the Indian Olympic program for the past nine months and has been working with athletes in Bengaluru.

Mayank’s Professional Background and Assignments

Mayank is appointed to the Indian Olympic program by Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ) India. Before his wrestling assignment, he worked with Indian badminton star and two-time Olympic medalist P.V. Sindhu. Mayank and other team members have already reached Spain, where they have started their Olympic preparations. This experience will be crucial for the athletes as they prepare for the upcoming games. During this time, Mayank will play a vital role in enhancing their physical conditioning and performance.

Mayank’s Personal Background and Previous Work

Originally from Bageshwar district, Mayank’s father, Puran Singh Gariya, retired as a Junior Commissioner Officer. His mother, Kalavati Devi, is a skilled homemaker. Previously, Mayank used to train athletes in Haldwani. He has also worked with the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand.
