Chief Minister Engages with Bengali Community to Address Concerns and Issues

Dehradun:- On Tuesday, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami held an important meeting at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office. During this meeting, Cabinet Minister Shri Saurabh Bahuguna and MLA Shri Shiv Aroda led representatives from the Bengali community of the Udham Singh Nagar district, including Sitarganj, Gadarpur, and Rudrapur, to meet with the Chief Minister.

The community representatives presented various issues to the Chief Minister. Notably, they expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for removing the term “East Pakistan” from the caste certificates issued to displaced members of the Bengali community in the state.

During the discussion, the Chief Minister stated that the issues raised by the Bengali community would be carefully considered, and efforts would be made to find appropriate solutions. He also mentioned that the government is working with the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” in the state. The government is continually striving to address the problems of various communities.

Several prominent members of the Bengali community were present at the meeting, including Shri Uttam Dutta, Shri Himanshu Sarkar, Shri K.K. Das, Shri Vishnupad Pramanik, Shri Debu Mandal, and others. Everyone expressed hope for the government’s cooperation in resolving their issues.
