Chief Minister Launches ‘Three-Pillar and Nine-Point Strategy Program’

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the ‘Three-Pillar and Nine-Point Strategy Program’ aimed at balancing the state’s economy and ecology. The Planning Department will lead the initiative, focusing on three key pillars: Community Empowerment Campaign, Innovation and Technology Campaign, and Financial Autonomy and Literacy Campaign. The Chief Minister emphasized that this initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India, ensuring that the state government gives equal importance to development and environmental conservation.

Overview and Objectives of the Three Pillars

Each of the three pillars is based on a three-point strategy. The Community Empowerment Campaign emphasizes reviving traditional practices, behavioral change for sustainable consumption, and youth skill development. The Innovation and Technology Campaign promotes green technology, prioritizes technical solutions, and encourages the adoption of circular economy principles. The Financial Autonomy and Literacy Campaign aims at standardizing green practices, promoting participation in carbon credit markets, and implementing bridge funding strategies for sustainable projects. On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, the Chief Minister urged all departments to pledge efforts towards achieving a balance between economy and ecology.

Senior Officials Present at the Inauguration

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the participation of several senior officials, including Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, and Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, among others. The Chief Minister instructed all departments to swiftly implement the strategy, expressing confidence that the program will not only drive comprehensive development but also set a benchmark in environmental conservation.
