Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s Birthday Celebrated as “Yuva Sankalp Diwas” with Special Prayers at Badrinath and Kedarnath Temples

Dehradun:- On September 16, the birthday of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the state as “Yuva Sankalp Diwas” (Youth Resolution Day). The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) organized special prayers and rituals at key temples, including Badrinath, Kedarnath, Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath, Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, Tungnath, and Siddh Peeth Kalimath. On this occasion, prayers were offered for the Chief Minister’s long life and the prosperity of the state.

In Badrinath Dham, Mahabhishek Puja was performed by the temple priests in the name of the Chief Minister, while at Kedarnath Dham, Shodashopchar and Rudrabhishek ceremonies were conducted. BKTC Chairman Ajendra Ajay mentioned that officials, members, and employees of the committee were present during the rituals at the various temples.

To mark the occasion, tree plantation programs, blood donation camps, and sports competitions were held across the state. At the Chief Minister’s residence in Dehradun, a steady stream of well-wishers arrived throughout the day to offer their congratulations.

Top leaders from across the country also extended birthday wishes to Chief Minister Dhami. Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his greetings, praising Dhami for playing a leading role in Uttarakhand’s development. Home Minister Amit Shah also lauded Dhami’s leadership, noting that the state is witnessing a golden period of growth under his administration. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also took to social media to commend the Chief Minister’s efforts and offer their best wishes.

Chief Minister Dhami began his birthday by seeking blessings from his parents and later visited Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple with his family, where he prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the people of the state. He urged citizens and organizations to step forward and help those affected by the natural disaster currently impacting the state. Throughout the day, people continued to visit the Chief Minister’s official residence to offer their best wishes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his birthday message to the Chief Minister, remarked that Dhami is at the forefront of initiatives aimed at transforming the state and wished him a long, healthy life.

Home Minister Amit Shah said that under Dhami’s leadership, Uttarakhand is witnessing a golden period of development and welfare for the poor. In his message, Shah prayed for Dhami’s long and prosperous life. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh acknowledged the Chief Minister’s extraordinary efforts toward the development of the state and improving the lives of its people.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also shared his message on the social media platform “X” (formerly Twitter), saying, “Best wishes to the illustrious and popular Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, on his birthday. With your tireless work and dedication, Uttarakhand is continuously progressing on the path of development and setting new records of achievement.”

The BKTC also organized Mahabhishek Puja in Badrinath and Rudrabhishek in Kedarnath in honor of Chief Minister Dhami’s birthday. Special prayers and havans were also held at Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath, Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, Tungnath, and Siddh Peeth Kalimath.

The Chief Minister also visited the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIVH) on Rajpur Road, Dehradun, where he celebrated his birthday by cutting a cake with the children there. He offered them cake and wished them a bright future. The children, in return, gifted the Chief Minister a handmade model.

On social media, Chief Minister Dhami’s birthday was among the top trending topics, with the hashtag #YuvaSankalpDiwas trending nationwide.
