Dehradun: On the auspicious occasion of Durga Navami during the Sharadiya Navratri, Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Ratudi formally inaugurated the new premises of Uttarakhand Gramin Bank today. This branch, now located in the new premises opposite MKP College, is exclusively operated by female employees. During the inauguration, the Chief Secretary praised the bank’s efforts to enhance customer convenience and appreciated the products displayed by the rural bank to encourage self-help groups.
During the event, the bank’s chairman, Mr. Hari Har Patnaik, stated that Uttarakhand Gramin Bank currently provides banking services across Uttarakhand through 292 branches and 624 customer contact centers. At present, 2 million customers are associated with the bank, including nearly 1 million female customers. Present at the event were NABARD’s General Manager Dr. Suman Kumar, the bank’s General Manager Mrs. Amita Ratudi, Branch Manager Mrs. Uma Nath, and several other officials and employees.
