Dehradun: Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi conducted a review meeting for the Special Assistance Scheme of the state for capital investment 2024-25. During the meeting, all concerned departments were instructed to promptly work on the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and proposals under the scheme and ensure they are sent to the Government of India within the stipulated timeframe.
Instructions for Women & Child Welfare, Tourism, and Transport Departments
The Chief Secretary directed the Women & Child Welfare Department to prepare the DPR for constructing hostels for working women in various districts by September 30. The Tourism Department was asked to submit project proposals worth ₹250 crores for the development of prominent tourist centers by October 15. Additionally, the Transport Department was instructed to present proposals worth around ₹100 crores for the scrapping of old vehicles by December.
Deadlines for Industry, Housing, Revenue, and Agriculture Departments
The Industry and Housing Department were directed to prepare proposals worth ₹100 crores to promote industrial development in the state by October 31. The Revenue and Agriculture Department were instructed to submit proposals related to land record improvements and modernization in rural areas, amounting to ₹505 crores, to the Government of India as soon as possible. The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Anand Bardhan, Secretary Mr. Dilip Jawalkar, Mr. S. N. Pandey, Additional Secretary Mrs. Pooja Garbyal, Mr. Nitin Bhadauria, Mr. Vijay Jogdande, and other officials from the concerned departments.
