District Magistrate Announces Large-Scale Multi-Purpose Camp to Address Issues in Remote Villages

Dehradun: A large-scale multi-purpose camp will be organized to swiftly address the issues faced by the rural population and remote villages of Dehradun district, while ensuring the benefits of government welfare schemes. This information was shared by District Magistrate Savin Bansal during a meeting held in the Rishiparna Auditorium.

The District Magistrate emphasized that directly delivering the benefits of government schemes to the people is our primary objective. He instructed officials to engage not just from their offices, but to visit villages and resolve issues. “Officials should reach the ground to hear the problems of the locals and take effective steps toward solutions,” he stated.

The Chief Development Officer has been directed to ensure the organization of the multi-purpose camp, with the goal of ensuring that no individual is deprived of the benefits of government schemes. He made it clear that it is our core mission to provide the benefits of these schemes to the most marginalized members of society.

During the camp, all departments will be present at one location, allowing services such as health checks, Ayushman cards, pensions, certificates, farmer credit cards, and vocational training to be offered under one roof. The District Magistrate said, “This will be done under the government’s ‘Doorstep Delivery’ initiative, enabling the resolution of public issues on-site.”

The aim of this multi-purpose camp is to provide basic facilities in remote rural areas and to promptly resolve public issues. The District Magistrate expressed the expectation that departmental officials will fully commit to this effort, ensuring that all needy individuals benefit from government schemes.
