Dehradun– The recent directives issued by Dehradun’s District Magistrate, Savin Bansal, are showing clear results in the district. The work to increase the number of medicine distribution counters at the district hospital has gained momentum, and two new counters will be ready within the next three days.
During his recent inspection, the District Magistrate observed heavy crowds at the medicine counters in the district hospital. Taking into account the issues faced by the general public, he instructed the authorities to increase the number of medicine counters from three to five, aiming to streamline services. With the new counters, patients will no longer have to wait in long lines, and proper seating arrangements will also be provided near the counters.
In addition, the administrative system has become more active, with various departments taking strict actions against irregularities. Recently, the District Magistrate expressed strong dissatisfaction with the unhygienic conditions at the district hospital and ordered strict action against the responsible contractor. Following his orders, a fine of ₹50,000 has been imposed on the contractor, with further directives issued to improve the hospital’s cleanliness.
District Magistrate Savin Bansal’s initiatives have brought about noticeable improvements in the district’s administration, with swift progress being made in public welfare projects.
