Dehradun: Information Director General of Uttarakhand, Banshidhar Tiwari, has submitted a formal complaint to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Dehradun, alleging that certain individuals have been attempting to tarnish his image through misleading posts on social media platforms, particularly Facebook.

Allegations of Misleading and Baseless Posts

In his written complaint, Mr. Tiwari mentioned that some people are spreading false and baseless allegations against him on social media without any factual evidence or justification. He stated that such actions appear to be a deliberate attempt to damage his personal reputation and public image.

Request for Fair Investigation

Mr. Tiwari has urged the concerned authorities to conduct a fair and transparent investigation into the matter. He has requested that the individuals responsible for sharing or creating such objectionable posts be identified and appropriate legal action be taken against them under relevant provisions of the IT Act and defamation laws.

Call for Action Against Defamatory Content
