Haldwani, Uttarakhand: The Uttarakhand Open University (UOU) has officially declared October 13, 2025, as the last date for admissions for the academic session 2025–26. The university administration has made it clear that there will be no further extension in the admission deadline beyond this date
Deadline to Be Strictly Followed
According to Prof. Naveen Chandra Lohani, Vice-Chancellor of Uttarakhand Open University, all interested students, along with those who have already registered in previous semesters, must ensure their admission for the upcoming session or class is completed by October 13.
He stated that the university had opened the admission window well in advance to provide ample time for students to complete their enrollment without any rush. Therefore, he urged students not to wait until the last day to apply.
Appeal to Students for Timely Admission
Prof. Lohani appealed to all students to complete the admission process within the stipulated time frame to avoid any obstacles in participating in the forthcoming academic activities. Timely admission, he said, will ensure smooth continuity in learning and prevent delays in academic schedules.
He further added that the university aims to make the admission process simple and accessible, catering especially to those who are balancing education with work or family responsibilities.
