Dehradun: Railway Routes: Connecting Uttarakhand: The Central Government has taken a significant step towards strengthening rail connectivity in Uttarakhand. The Ministry of Railways has approved three important rail services for Haridwar. These include the extension of an existing train to Haridwar and the introduction of two new AC Express trains.
Under the Ministry of Railways’ decision, the Garib Rath Express, currently running between Bandra Terminus and Delhi Sarai Rohilla, will be extended to Haridwar. Additionally, approval has been granted for the operation of two new AC Express trains connecting Haridwar to Veraval and Haridwar to Okha.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami about this decision via a letter.
