Challenges for Mayank

Getting a spot in the playing XI of the Uttarakhand team has been challenging for Mayank. Since 2018, the Uttarakhand team has included a guest/pro left-arm spinner, making Mayank the second choice in the Ranji Trophy. However, he has proven this decision wrong. Mayank once mentioned that he waits for opportunities and believes that once given a chance, a player must perform. His mindset remains simple: to focus on what he can control as a player. He also emphasized that playing at a higher level requires increased effort, and as a cricketer, one can never relax.
