Harshit Joshi a resident of Mandara, Basar village in Bhilangana block has been selected against the only seat allotted to the state making his success even more remarkable.
Success in Highly Competitive National Exam
The entrance process for RIMC is conducted at the national level where only a limited number of seats are available across the country. Out of around 36 seats only one is reserved for Uttarakhand which makes the competition extremely tough. Harshit achievement reflects not only his talent but also his dedication and consistent efforts in a highly competitive environment.
Cracked the Exam in Just 7 Months
What makes this success story even more inspiring is that Harshit prepared for the examination in just seven months. With focused study, disciplined routine and clear determination he managed to clear the written exam and perform well in the interview stage held in Dehradun. In the final round six candidates appeared for the interview and Harshit secured his place among the selected candidates.

Harshit completed his initial preparation from a Sainik academy in Faridabad where he followed a structured learning approach. Earlier he had also been selected for Sainik School, Ghorakhal but he aimed higher and continued preparing for RIMC. His journey highlights the importance of setting clear goals and staying committed to achieving them.

Behind this success is also the strong support of his family. While his father is currently working in Japan his mother played a crucial role in motivating and guiding him throughout his preparation. Their encouragement and belief helped Harshit stay focused and achieve this milestone.
