Pithoragarh | Indian Army | Paras Bhatt: Paras Bhatt, a resident of Rauliagaon Tok (Beltari) in the Thalkedar region of Pithoragarh, has brought honor to his family and region by becoming an officer in the Indian Army. He completed his training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya. His success has created an atmosphere of joy for both his family and the local community.
Paras Bhatt is the son of retired Captain CS Bhatt. He received his early education at Gayatri Memorial Public School, Vadda. Subsequently, he completed his junior high school education at The Asian Academy, Pithoragarh, and his intermediate studies at Army Public School. He then pursued a B.Tech degree from Graphic Era University, Dehradun
A Family with a Four-Generation Army Legacy
Four generations of Paras Bhatt’s family have been associated with the Army. Before him, his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather served in the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME). Several other family members have also served in the Indian Army.
Having grown up in an Army environment, Paras was inspired by his forebears. He set his goal of becoming an Army officer early on and achieved it through hard work and dedication.
An Emotional Moment at the Passing-Out Parade
Paras’s achievement became a deeply emotional moment for the family during the passing-out parade held at OTA, Gaya. Tears of joy and pride welled up in his grandparents’ eyes when his medal was presented to them.
Ex-servicemen and local residents congratulated Paras Bhatt on becoming an Army officer. His success is being hailed as an inspiration for the youth of the region. By carrying forward his family’s four-generation military legacy, Paras has further enhanced his family’s honor.
