Uttarakhand: Haldwani: Sports University: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will arrive for a one-day visit to Nainital district on Saturday, August 29, 2026. According to the proposed itinerary, the Chief Minister will travel from Rudrapur to Haldwani by helicopter and participate in various events, including the groundbreaking and foundation-laying ceremony of the Uttarakhand State Sports University at Gaulapar.
As per the schedule received from the District Magistrate’s office, the Chief Minister will depart by helicopter from the DPS School grounds in Rudrapur at 11:50 AM and arrive at the Gaulapar Stadium helipad at 12:00 PM. From there, he will leave by car at 12:10 PM for the Uttarakhand State Sports University in Gaulapar, reaching the venue at 12:15 PM.
Between 12:15 PM and 2:00 PM, the Chief Minister will attend the groundbreaking/foundation-laying ceremony of the Uttarakhand State Sports University and participate in a program organized to mark National Sports Day.
Subsequently, at 2:00 PM, the Chief Minister will leave the Sports University by car for ITDC Fortune, Haldwani. There, he will participate in an interactive session with representatives from the trade and industry sectors from 2:45 PM to 3:30 PM.
In the next phase of the visit, the Chief Minister will depart from ITDC Fortune at 3:30 PM for Anand Bagh (near the District Cooperative Bank) to attend a scheduled program. Afterward, at 4:00 PM, he will leave Anand Bagh for South Enclave-4, Farm Number-03, Mukhani, to participate in an event organized there.
The Chief Minister’s final engagement will be at the FTI helipad in Haldwani. He will leave South Enclave by car for the FTI helipad at 4:30 PM, arrive there at 4:40 PM, and depart for Dehradun by helicopter.
The district administration is making all necessary preparations for the Chief Minister’s visit. The Chief Minister will be present at various events related to sports, industry, and local-level activities during the tour.
