One such example is Lakshmi Mehta from Khatima, who will now be seen acting in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Worked in Major Shows
Lakshmi, the daughter of Dev Singh Mehta and Chandrakala Mehta from Chakarpur, who serves in the army, had a keen interest in acting since childhood. She completed her studies in engineering but aimed to pursue her dreams, which led her to Mumbai four years ago. Lakshmi began her career with music videos and later got an opportunity to work in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi show, marking the start of her acting journey. Since then, there has been no looking back. She went on to win the hearts of millions with her performances in Star Bharat’s ‘Albela’ and Dangal TV’s ‘Poornima’.

The highly popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been beloved by audiences since its debut on July 28, 2008. Over the years, many new and quirky characters have come and gone from this long-running show. Almost every character has left a distinct impression on the audience. One such famous character is the journalist Popatlal, who has been single for years and often troubled by his relationship status. Many times, his relationships almost materialize but then fall apart. However, now a new character, Madhubala, is set to enter his life. This character will be portrayed by Lakshmi Mehta from Khatima.
